SuperStar2 6112/6212RM

The SuperStar2 6112/6212RM is a 2U, 12-bay rack-mountable 4G Fibre Channel to SAS/SATA RAID system. Available as Single Controller (6112RM) or Dual Controller (6212RM).

Running at 4Gig the 6112/6212RM is delivering the performance required by users needing very high data throughput. The nature of Fibre Channel makes it a building block for Storage Area Network (SAN) systems.

Fully configured with 3TB SATA or SAS drives, the 6112/6212RM offers 36TB of raw capacity. With two 4Gb SFP Fibre channel ports, the 6112/6212RM provides increased reliability and functionality critical to a company’s IT infrastructure. 6112/6212RM includes a cutting edge 64-bit RAID architecture which maximises the Serial ATA disk throughput potential, making the system an ideal solution for professional storage applications such as image processing, web streaming, data centers, media & asset management libraries, file, print and database servers. 

Up to four SAS Expander boxes (JBOD's) can be added to each RAID-controller, allowing for a total of 324TB of raw capacity.
