The HyperStar Lite 6112RM is a single controller 2U 12-bay rackmountable Fibre Channel-to-SATA RAID System. As the name suggests, the HyperStar Lite is a more affordable member of the HyperStar family and it benefits from the same chassis and main components as its other family members.

Running at 4Gbit, the Lite 6112RM is delivering the performance required by users needing very high datathroughput. The nature of Fibre Channel makes it a building block for Storage Area Network (SAN) systems.
Fully configured with 1TB SATA II drives, the Lite 6112RM offers 12TB of raw capacity. With two 4Gb SFP Fibre channel ports, the Lite 6112RM provides increased reliability and functionality critical to a company’s IT infrastructure. The Lite 6112RM includes a cutting edge 64-bit RAID architecture which maximizes the Serial ATA disk throughput potential, making the system an ideal solution for professional storage applications such as image processing, web streaming, data centers, media & asset managementlibraries, file, print and database servers.
