Designed for growth
Fully configured with 3TB SATA II drives, the HyperStar 9116RM offers up to 48TB of raw capacity. When more capacity is required, up to 120 SAS JBODS can be added via the built-in SAS expander, theoretically allowing for over 3 PetaBytes (3000TB) of storage capacity.
HyperStar2 9116RM is based on PCIe connectivity, featuring PCIe x 4 as host interface and a SAS backplane attachment to support SAS and SATA II disk drives. Connectivity to the host is made via a PCIe redrive Card and an external PCIe cable.
