Leading data storage developer United Digital has appointed Kodak Service & Support as its official onsite service and maintenance partner as part of its European expansion drive.

The RAID specialist handed the contract to Kodak after unprecedented demand for the company’s range of data storage systems called for a service partner with the capacity, experience and credibility to handle the job.

The appointment is the latest in a series of moves aimed at facilitating the firm’s overseas growth and comes hot on the heels of several new product launches from its next-generation HyperStar Fibre Channel Series. The complete palette of RAID solutions, which also includes the SuperStar and FireStar ranges, are purpose-designed with the Apple environment in mind.
