UD - Europe wide expansion plan |
United Digital announces Europe-wide expansion planDemand from mainland Europe accelerates search for European distributors Due to unprecedented demand from mainland Europe, leading RAID developer United Digital is accelerating its European expansion plans and is actively seeking European distributors, the company announced today. “It always was our intention to grow the business, both in terms of the product range we offer and the markets we sell into, but Apple’s withdrawal of the Xserve RAID has brought about a surge in demand from mainland Europe which we’re struggling to meet from the UK,” explains United Digital’s Managing Director Hans Enoksen.
During the past year United Digital has re-vamped its entire product range to include a superior palette of RAID solutions, all purpose-designed with the Apple environment in mind. In addition, the whole UD range now features energy-saving GreenPower hard drives from Western Digital, bringing substantial energy savings and reducing CO2 emissions by up to 84 kilograms per drive per year - the equivalent of taking a car off the road for 19 days every year. The new RAID range also features Western Digital’s latest IntelliPark™ technology which parks the heads during idle periods, reducing aerodynamic drag and power consumption - not only lowering energy consumption by up to 40% but running cooler and more quietly than conventional drives.
“With our new product range in place, we’d be interested to hear from potential distributors in our target markets who can help us bring UD to a wider audience,” For more information please call 01926 88 70 80 |
